Long Term Food Storage Shelf Life

Our ready-made long term food storage meals are packed in airtight Nitrogen Packed mylar pouches and then encased in durable, stackable plastic containers. Our unique packaging process removes the majority of the residual oxygen through a vacuum oxygen removal and nitrogen flushing practice.  Our ready-made meals carry a shelf life of up to 25 years, with no rotation needed. That's 25 years without the stress of wondering if your family will have enough good, useable food when an emergency strikes.

Our outdoor line of camping food comes with a 7 year shelf life making it perfect for all of your upcoming camping, backpacking, hunting or other outdoor experiences.

The newest line of emergency food that we stock is our freeze dried meat. Our freeze dried meats are wonderfully seasoned and have a shelf life of up to 15 years!

Cool and dry locations are recommended for your food storage. Optimal storage conditions are in a dry, cool basement-like location of 50-55 degrees. When storing freeze-dry and dehydrated food one should avoid hot and humid locations.

Shelf life estimates are based on industry studies from sources deemed reputable.  Since we have no control over individulal storage practices, they must disclaim any liability or warranty for particular results.  The shelf live stated on our food products are based on a "will sustain life" shelf life.  This means that although time and heat may degrade the nutrition, color, and texture of all foods, our products will still be safe to eat and sustain life through the stated shelf life.
